fire as did the five or so other players on the team who were legit D1 top level players. All were Mickey Dean recruits and all either exhausted their eligibility or chose not to return. I think the coaching staff got fooled by the stats of last season's #2 P Humphrey. They looked good but she pitched all the cupcake games. Some kids can handle the #1 role while others hit a ceiling and don't work out. The latter happened with Humphrey. Add to that the fact that kid that were being DH'd for last season are hitting three and four this year and you've got a huge fail.
